Cantata 8.0 has been independently certified for use in the development of safety related software by SGS-TÜV Saar GmbH.
Cantata version 8.0 is now certified as “usable in the development of safety related software” for all main safety standards up to their highest safety integrity levels. SGS-TÜV Saar GmbH are the leading independent third-party certification body for functional safety, accredited by Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS).
Cantata 8.0 has been certified for the following safety standards:
- IEC 61508:2010 (general industrial)
- ISO 26262:2011 (automotive)
- EN 50128:2011 (railways)
- IEC 60880:2006 (nuclear power)
- and IEC 62304:2006 (medical devices)
